I am thrilled to share some exciting news—my fourth album, Eternity and a Day, will be released on June 6 via Summit Records!
After seven years, this album marks a return to my roots with a piano trio format, featuring a collection of original compositions at its heart. I am honored to be joined by two incredible musicians: bassist Steve Whipple, known for his work with Toshiko Akiyoshi and as the bandleader for Postmodern Jukebox’s world tour, and legendary drummer Adam Nussbaum, who has performed with Michael Brecker, Eliane Elias, and many other jazz greats.
This album captures the vibrant energy and depth of the Michika Fukumori Trio as it stands today. I truly hope you’ll enjoy this fresh and expressive sound.

2025年6月6日発売！
嬉しいお知らせです。私の4枚目のアルバム、Eternity and a Day が、
6月6日にアメリカの老舗レコードレーベルのサミットレコードから
発売されることになりました。こちらのレーベルからは今回３枚目の発売になります。
7年ぶりのこのアルバムは、ピアノトリオ編成に回帰し、オリジナル曲を
中心に構成された意欲的な作品になりました。メンバーには、穐吉敏子との共演やPostmodern Jukeboxのワールドツアーのバンドリーダー
としても知られるベーシスト、 スティーブ・ウィップル、
そしてマイケル・ブレッカー、イリアーヌ・イライアスなどと共演してきた伝説的な名ドラマー 、アダム・ナスバウム という素晴らしいミュージシャンが参加しています。
このアルバムは、現在のMichika Fukumori Trioの新鮮で深みのあるサウンドが詰まっており、ぜひ皆さんに聴いて頂きたいアルバムに仕上がりました。
